The Chatiwi way, in one line
Treat the person on the other side of the call the way you would want to be treated by a stranger: friendly, honest and respectful. If you would not do it in a café, do not do it on Chatiwi.
What we expect on every Chatiwi call
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are yourself: a live person on camera, not a photo, a clip or someone else.
- You keep the call non-explicit, on both sides.
- You take no for an answer and end the call when the other person wants to.
- You keep what was said and shown on a call between the two of you.
Not allowed on Chatiwi
- Nudity, sexual acts or explicit talk, or pressuring anyone towards them.
- Anything involving a person under 18.
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or hate about race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or looks.
- Recording, screenshotting or sharing any part of a call or chat.
- Scams: asking for money, gift cards, codes or payment outside Chatiwi.
- Advertising, recruiting, or pushing people to other apps or sites.
- Violence, weapons, drugs or anything illegal on camera.
- Fake profiles, impersonation, bots and automated accounts.
Profiles and nicknames
Your nickname and photos are the first thing people see. Keep them non-explicit, do not use someone else's photos, and leave out contact details like phone numbers or links to other apps.
Money and gifts
Paying for calls and gifts happens only inside Chatiwi, with coins. Nobody should ask you for money, gift cards or a payment elsewhere. If someone does, end the call and report them.
What happens when a rule is broken
Reports are reviewed by people. Depending on what happened, we may suspend the account for a time or remove it. A removed account cannot come back with a new one. If you think a decision about your account was a mistake, the Chatiwi Help Center explains how to ask for a review.
Help us keep Chatiwi good
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it, even after you have moved on. Every report helps the next person have a better call. The Chatiwi Safety Center explains how.
