Agreeing to the Chatiwi terms
By using Chatiwi at chatiwi.app, in a browser or as the Chatiwi web app on your home screen, as a guest or with an account, you agree to these terms, the Chatiwi Community Guidelines and the Chatiwi Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Chatiwi.
Who may use Chatiwi
You must be at least 18 years old. If an account or guest session turns out to belong to someone younger, it is closed. An account belongs to one person: sharing, selling or running an account for someone else is not allowed.
Guest sessions and accounts
A guest session is created when you open Chatiwi. Guests can match, video chat, call someone from the online list, watch live streams and follow people. Buying coins, the wallet and settings require signing in with your email. A guest session cannot be moved to another device. You are responsible for what happens under your session or account.
What you agree not to do on Chatiwi
- Show or send explicit material, on camera or in writing.
- Involve anyone under 18 in any way.
- Harass, threaten, pressure or scam anyone.
- Record, screenshot or pass on any part of a call or chat.
- Pretend to be someone else, or use Chatiwi to advertise or recruit.
- Open a new account to get around a suspension or removal.
- Interfere with the service, for example with bots, scraping or attempts to break in.
Ending calls, reports and suspensions
Either person may end a call or tap Next at any time. Reports are reviewed by people. Chatiwi may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and may remove content. A suspension is not always permanent; it depends on what happened. If you think we got it wrong, see the Chatiwi Help Center.
Coins and paid calls
- Free video matches may be handed out daily. The number is set by the system for each account; no amount is promised.
- After that, video calls are paid with coins bought in advance. A random match costs the number of coins shown on the Start button; VIP members may get a discount. A call to a specific person is charged at her own price, shown before you call.
- A notice appears in the call before billing starts.
- Payments are processed by a payment provider. Chatiwi does not receive card numbers.
No guarantees about who is online
Who you meet on Chatiwi depends on who is online at the time. Chatiwi is provided as it is, and we cannot promise a particular person, waiting time or uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what other users say or do.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using Chatiwi after that date means you accept the new version.
